I have a high mileage Subaru Outback and have almost exclusively taken it to the dealer for service. Tom's got me right in, and did the work for a third of the cost at my dealer. The person I dealt with was knowledgeable and friendly. I live here in West Seattle, and it is nice to find a good alternative to having to go off island.

Great service with no pushy 'You need to do these 12 things that cost $5000 or your car WILL EXPLODE!!!' sales tactics (which I have experienced in West Seattle). They performed service on my car, suggested a few things to look out for that were legit things to monitor, and were incredibly friendly. Think I found my local mechanic. I will definitely be using Tom's again!

My experience at Tom's was (as usual, after 23 years) great! My brake warning light went on while I was driving, I called and was invited to come right over, and the crew at Tom's immediately checked everything out. No waiting. My brake fluid was topped off, oil was added, the long-range possibilities from a slow leak were discussed, and I got a recommendation to two reputable dealerships for when I need a newer car. I always feel I'm in good hands!
