The Staff was very knowledgable and professional throughout our encounter. The service was carried out in a prompt manner with full disclosure of a couple of findings for which they requested my input before proceeding. I felt the charges were within an acceptable range. They even let me leave the car overnight when my timing got thrown off and it would have been difficult for me to get it that evening as had been promised.

Tom's believes in giving back to the community in several ways. When you stop by, bring canned/non perishable foods for the basket by the front door. Donations go to the local food bank.

The staff at Tom's was friendly and knowledgable. They took the time to listen to my concerns and suggested a less expensive option to fix my car's problem rather than to push me towards a very expensive repair. Their mechanic even took the time to open up the hood and answer my questions about my car's radiator, cooling system and head gaskets and let me know what to look out for in the future. Highly recommended shop. It was really great to go to a mechanic and not feel like I was being sold an expensive repair simply because they knew I don't have enough knowledge about the inner workings of my car to argue that the repair might not be necessary or that something less expensive might achieve the same results.

It was a surprise that all the fluids are checked, the car goes on the lift to check for structural issues and my car gets a complimentary wash.

I am impressed, and happy to have such a reliable, helpful automotive shop in the neighborhood. My wife and I relocated to West Seattle less then a year ago, and are using an old family car (blue 2000 neon) while we get set up. Being an older car, we brought it in for a check up and service, and we have received honest diagnosis and advice on the priority items required to keep it running. You're availability and service speed has also been great. We have been able to schedule appointments quickly and work has been done on time. Most importantly though, you have helped and accommodated us on short notice when we were experiencing clutch related mechanical problems, including allowing us to park it in your lot for a few days. That kind of service was incredible, and we couldn't thank you enough. No doubt the car will require continued maintenance, and we will be happy to continue using your services. Thanks Again.
