Every step of the process in getting my car repaired was excellent. Bryce gave me excellent breakdowns of what was going on with my vehicle, reviewing the options I had and keeping me up to date as repairs happened. I would gladly have my cars serviced here again and will recommend Tom's Automotive to friends and family. Lastly some of the repairs I had previously gotten at other locations (glass replacement, etc) were well priced; others I have no comparison but were well within what I hoped/budgeted for.

The service was excellent as always - i needed an oil change but I also wanted them to look at the skid guard under the front end of the car because a corner was drooping. This is an older car and we discussed getting a new part but I didn't want to spend a lot of money to replace it and they agreed. So they fixed it without pushing me to replace it. Small things like this build my trust. Thank you for the great service!

Hands down the best auto shop I've ever been to. Tom's is always friendly, accommodating and takes time to explain the issue. Recently they went the extra mile on an issue with our car and spent time (that the dealer wouldn't) diagnosing, finding and fixing the issue. All for a fair price and with an incredibly helpful attitude. Don't hesitate for a minute to go to this locally owned small business who consistently knocks it out of the park. We've been going to them for 10+ years and always had A+++ customer service.

Car wouldn't start, late Friday afternoon. Did not have a local mechanic. Desperately wanted a good experience. GOT IT. Will be a repeat customer.

My experience with Tom’s Automotive was smooth and easy. I walked in with an issue with my car and by the end of the day it was fixed. They went out of their way to squeeze me in on a day when they were short-handed. They were friendly and helpful. I took off one star because they refilled my coolant (and charged me for it) without my permission. I was always taught I could just refill with water when it was a little below the cool full line. They also told me I needed a transmission fluid flush urgently, but I checked it when I got home and it wasn’t very dirty. I admittedly don’t know much about cars and engines, but I felt I was getting taken advantage of a little because of my minimal knowledge.

We apologize that you felt taken advantage of, that was never our intention. Our job is to help educate you so you can make the proper decisions for your vehicle. If you are ever unsure we are happy to answer any questions you may have. Your cooling system, yes you can top it off with water but it can dilute the system and not provide the proper protection that is required. Ideally you want a 50/50 mix of coolant and water. We wanted to be sure it was at the proper level and freeze protection. We use a rating scale of 1-5, with 5 being the worst. Your transmission fluid was rated at a 4. Your particular type of vehicle is known to have transmission issues and it is critical to keep the fluid clean to prolong the life of the transmission.
