Again,I had an excellent experience at Tom's fro beginning to end, including transportation home after leaving my car there, and transportation back to Tom's to pick up the car. These kinds of services are especially important to an 86 year old, along with full explanation of what repairs are needed and the cost of same.

I brought a car I was looking to buy into Tom's for a pre-purchase inspection, and I am so glad that I did. Not only did they uncover some potentially expensive repairs that the dealer was trying to conceal, but they explained the problems in plain English -- a godsend for a non-car guy like me. They saved me thousands of dollars and endless aggravation, and for that alone, I can't recommend them enough. Take your vehicle into Tom's — Kandie (the manager), John (the mechanic), and Bryce (who manned the desk, but likely does a ton more) won't steer you wrong.

They studied the problem, offered a progressively more expensive series of fixes (you can try xxx and if that does not solve the problem we can replace the gadget for almost $1000, if you want us to). The car is old and we can now consider the options.
