Tom's stayed open for me so I could come a bit late and retrieve my car. They stayed in touch with me and made suggestions that I thought were well taken and I agreed to them and am well-pleased with the result. It isn't the cheapest place in town, but I think their fees are what you have to pay to get the kind of service everyone seems to think should be low-cost. You get what you pay for, and so far Tom's has delivered for me. Pros: communication, 9.5 out of 10 for execution, professional demeanor, ease of location to West Seattle denizens and islanders from Vashon and Southworth, willingness to sub out to qualified sub-contractors what they don't do well, good turn-around times, availability of loaners and courtesy vans to local homes from their garage, reminder notes and e-mails for service as agreed upon. Cons: None.
